This deluxe framed collage features a Joe Sakic Autographed Avs bear claw with tickets from the 1996 Stanley Cup playoffs and 96 Cup patch. Overall size 43 length & 18 width (inches). The 1996 Stanley Cup Final NHL championship series was contested by the Colorado Avalanche and the Florida Panthers. The Avalanche won the Cup in a four game sweep to win the franchise's first Stanley Cup, in their first season in Denver.

Joe Sakic is a Canadian professional ice hockey executive and former player. He played his entire 21 year career with the Quebec Nordiques and the Colorado Avalanche (1988-2009). Sakic was named captain of the team in 1992 (after being co-captain in 1990-91), he is regarded as one of the greatest team leaders in league history. Due to consistently motivating his team to play at a winning level! Sakic lead the Avalanche to Stanley Cup titles in 1996 and 2001, being named the MVP of the 1996 playoffs, and honored as the MVP of the NHL in 2001. He was also named to play in 13 NHL All-Star Games and selected to the NHL First All-Star Team at centre, 3 times!

Sakic retired from the NHL in July of 2009, and had his jersey number retired prior to the Avalanches's 2009-10 season opener back in October of 2009, at the Pepsi Center. Then Joe Sakic was inducted in the Hockey Hall of Fame on November of 2012, and was named '100 Greatest NHL Players' in history!
