Lynch played college football at Stanford University and was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 1994 NFL draft. He was traded to the Denver Broncos In 2004 and played with them for four years. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame In August of 2021. He is currently general manager of the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League
