He helped Oakland win 5 consecutive American League West divisional pennants, 3 consecutive American League pennants and 3 consecutive World Series titles, from 1972 to 1974.
Jackson helped New York win 4 American League East divisional pennants, 3 American League pennants and 2 consecutive World Series titles, from 1977 to 1981. Then he helped the California Angels win 2 AL West divisional pennants in 1982 and 1986. Jackson hit 3 consecutive home runs at the Yankee Stadium in the clinching game 6 of the 1977 World Series. He also won 2 Silver Slugger Awards, the AL MVP Award in 1973, 2 World Series MVP Awards, and the Babe Ruth Award in 1977. The Yankees and Athletics retired his team uniform number in 1993 and 2004.
